Fire Punch - 8/10

i've always had a weird relationship with fujimoto's writing, and while i'll admit i still have some grudges against the dude's decisions (killing togata off ruined any chance of this manga being a 9) this still surprised the hell out of me with how much i enjoyed it, given my initial motivation for reading it started off as 'morbid curiosity' since the only things i knew about fire punch going in were a few screenshots of the opening chapters. i was expecting to hate it, but it won me over fast. hooked me hard enough that i didn't even lose that much motivation once togata (who is like three times better than the rest of the manga he's in to me) died. overall, hella good.
